FOUNDER/DIRECTOR Alisha Sickler-Brunelli | BFA, MS Ed, NYS Teaching Certification | Co-Owner, ARTifact Ceramic Bar Alisha has been an artist, art educator, and active member in the Binghamton community for the past 15 years. She found her love for teaching fresh out of college as an art specialist at the former private, progressive Susquehanna School. From here her path led to graduate school, teaching public art education K-12, and teaching private lessons.  Her personal work spans from digital mixed media, drawing, installation, and assemblage to commercial graphic design projects. Her deep interest in education science and entrepreneurship informs her work/projects. In addition to having a blast overseeing 'the crazy' at KAPOW, she teaches in the Art & Design Department at Binghamton University. She and her better half, John Brunelli, are co-owners of ARTifact Ceramic Bar.  She currently serves on the The Memory Maker Project Advisory Board. In her off hours she loves reading and drawing with her daughter, August, cooking up a storm for friends and family, and visiting flea markets for strange objects. (Support local!)
